Indian researchers and institutions explored MSCA Doctoral Networks 2026 opportunities

The MSCA Doctoral Networks (DN) Call 2026 Info Webinar for India was successfully organised online on 28 May 2026 by the MCAA India Chapter in collaboration with MSCA-GLOPOL. The event brought together researchers, research administrators and institutional representatives interested in exploring opportunities under Horizon Europe and the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA).

The webinar aimed to strengthen awareness of the MSCA Doctoral Networks programme and support the participation of Indian institutions and researchers in European research and innovation initiatives. Particular attention was given to the opportunities available for Indian organisations to engage in MSCA Doctoral Networks as Associated Partners and contribute to international research and training consortia.

Participants received practical information on participation modalities, eligibility conditions, consortium-building approaches, and the benefits of engaging in collaborative doctoral training projects under Horizon Europe. The discussions also highlighted the growing interest among Indian universities and research organisations in developing long-term partnerships with European institutions and expanding their involvement in international research cooperation.

By bringing together representatives from academia, research management, and the broader research community, the webinar contributed to fostering new connections and encouraging stronger EU–India collaboration in research and innovation.
