MSCA Doctoral Networks Info Session for the Western Balkan Countries – 16 September 2026

MSCA-GLOPOL is organising a hybrid information session on Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Networks, with a specific focus on the Western Balkan countries. The event will take place on 16 September 2026 at the Tirana International Hotel in Tirana, Albania, with the possibility to participate online.

Organised in cooperation with the Albanian National Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation, the session will bring together research institutions, individual researchers, non-governmental organisations, public agencies and private entities from across the Western Balkans.

The event will focus on the currently open MSCA Doctoral Networks call, providing participants with practical information on the call and an overview of the support available through MSCA National Contact Points (NCPs). Participants will also hear first-hand experiences and practical tips from successful MSCA participants.

Particular attention will be given to partner search and matchmaking, which remain important challenges for potential applicants. The session will introduce relevant matchmaking platforms and resources to help participants identify potential partners and strengthen their opportunities for cooperation in Doctoral Networks proposals.

The event will be held in English and participation is possible both onsite in Tirana and online.
