We are thrilled to announce the MSCA GLOPOL 2nd Regional Event for Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), which will take place in a hybrid format from Lima, Peru, on 25 September 2026.
Organised within the framework of the Noche Iberoamericana de los Investigadores (Ibero-American Researchers’ Night) coordinated by the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI), the event aims to strengthen institutional participation in European–LAC research collaboration under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA). While researcher mobility between Europe and the LAC region has been well established, this event will focus on increasing the participation of universities, research organisations and the private sector in consortium-based MSCA projects, particularly Doctoral Networks (DN) and Staff Exchanges (SE).
The three-hour programme will bring together research directors, internationalisation officers, university leadership and other institutional representatives from Peru and across the LAC region. Participants will receive practical guidance on the upcoming MSCA calls, eligibility and participation rules, consortium building, and institutional strategies for successful participation. The agenda also includes a panel discussion showcasing successful MSCA projects and institutional experiences from Colombia, Peru, Argentina and other countries in the region.
