We are thrilled to announce the MSCA GLOPOL 2nd Regional Event for Latin America and the Caribbean, taking place in a hybrid format from Lima, Peru, on September 25, 2026. Organized in the framework of the prestigious “Noche Iberoamericana de los Investigadores” (Ibero-American Researchers’ Night) coordinated by the OEI, this event aims to unlock the immense, untapped potential for institutional engagement in European-LAC scientific cooperation. While individual researcher mobility between our regions has historically been strong, this regional gathering is specifically designed to mobilize and equip LAC universities, research centers, and the private sector to step up as key partners in consortium-based schemes, specifically the upcoming calls for MSCA Doctoral Networks (DN) and Staff Exchanges (SE).
Bringing together Research Directors, Internationalization Officers, and academic leadership from across Peru and the wider LAC region, the 3-hour event will feature practical guidelines on participation rules, direct insights into funding mechanisms, and concrete strategies for consortium building. Attendees will also benefit from a dynamic panel discussion featuring real-world success stories from institutions in Colombia, Peru, Argentina and across the region, lowering the perceived barriers to application. Whether you join us in person in Lima—concluding with a networking cocktail sponsored by MSCA GLOPOL—or tune in via the live national broadcast by USMP TV, this event is your gateway to strengthening institutional networks, connecting with National Contact Points (NCPs), and preparing your institution to lead in global research innovation.
