The European Commission has launched a new MSCA Guide for Businesses, designed to help companies discover how the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) can strengthen their research and innovation capacity.
The new guide provides a practical introduction to the different ways businesses can participate in MSCA. Companies can host doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers, take part in international staff exchanges, access specialised expertise and advanced technologies, and build connections with universities, research organisations and innovative companies across Europe and beyond.
The guide also highlights how MSCA participation can help businesses develop their teams’ skills, reduce R&I costs and administrative effort, access international innovation networks and accelerate the development of new products, processes and solutions.
Real-life examples from MSCA projects demonstrate how academia-industry cooperation can translate research into concrete business applications, from new materials and patent opportunities to AI-supported environmental monitoring.
The guide offers a simple three-step pathway for companies interested in getting involved: define the company’s innovation needs, identify the most suitable form of MSCA participation, and contact the MSCA National Contact Point (NCP) for tailored guidance and support.
