The MSCA-GLOPOL information session for the Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Industrial (INTI) was successfully held online on 7 July 2026, bringing together 65 participants from across INTI’s national network in Argentina.
Organised in cooperation with INTI and the Secretaría de Innovación, Ciencia y Tecnología (SICYT), the one-hour session aimed to re-engage INTI with Horizon Europe following a gap in participation, despite the institution’s strong track record of five MSCA RISE projects under Horizon 2020 and two projects under the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).
The session was delivered in Spanish by Charlotte Grawitz, MSCA-GLOPOL Regional Liaison Officer for Argentina, and was opened by Julieta Comin, Operations Manager at INTI.
Participants received an overview of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, with a particular focus on three funding schemes:
- Doctoral Networks (DN)
- Staff Exchanges (SE)
- Postdoctoral Fellowships (PF), with particular emphasis on Global Fellowships (GF)
The high level of participation reflected strong institutional interest, bringing together researchers, technical staff and research management professionals from both INTI headquarters in Buenos Aires and regional offices across Argentina.
The event provided an important capacity-building opportunity for an institution with significant potential for renewed participation in Horizon Europe. It also fostered dialogue on future collaboration opportunities and highlighted the role that MSCA can play in strengthening international research cooperation.
