MSCA Doctoral Networks (DN) Webinar for South Africa – 19 June 2026

The MSCA Doctoral Networks (DN) Webinar for South Africa will take place on 19 June 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am (South African time). The online event is organised by MSCA-GLOPOL with the support of the European Research Executive Agency (REA) and the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI) of South Africa. The webinar aims to raise awareness of the opportunities available through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Networks (DN) scheme under Horizon Europe, with a particular focus on the 2026 call and on how South African institutions (academic and non-academic) can engage in international research mobility and collaboration.

The event targets institutional representatives and members of South Africa’s science, technology, and innovation (STI) community, including universities, research institutions, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) interested in building partnerships with European and international organisations. The programme will cover key aspects of the MSCA Doctoral Networks scheme, including an overview of the 2026 call, eligibility and evaluation criteria, the proposal submission process, and practical tips for preparing strong proposals. Participants will also hear practical insights from the University of Cape Town on their experience with MSCA Doctoral Networks. The webinar will be held online in English and is open to all interested participants.
