Mark your calendars for 23 April 2026 at 14:00 (China Standard Time) / 08:00 (Central European Summer Time) for an in-depth exploration of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Networks. This webinar is designed specifically for researchers, public, private, and joint-venture universities, and private sector stakeholders across China who are eager to engage with the prestigious Horizon Europe programme.
The session focuses on empowering Chinese institutions to take an active role in international research consortia. Although Chinese organizations do not typically receive direct funding under the Horizon Europe programme, they play a vital role as Associated Partners. Among other benefits, by joining these networks, Chinese institutions can host talented European PhD candidates for specialized secondments and contribute to the high-level training of a new generation of global innovators.
Whether you are looking to leverage national co-funding or foster long-term strategic partnerships, this webinar will provide the necessary clarity on participation rules and showcase the immense benefits of global knowledge transfer. We invite you to join the MSCA-GLOPOL project, EURAXESS China, and the the MSCA Alumni Association (MCAA) China Chapter to discover how your institution can become a key player in the world’s most ambitious doctoral training networks.
The keynote speaker at the event is Dr. Corina Georgeta Barna, a distinguished MSCA National Contact Point (NCP) for Romania with 18 years of expertise in EU funding. A veteran of the European research landscape, Dr. Barna serves as a Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) assessor for the European Commission and specializes in high-level international training. Having led MSCA workshops across Asia and the Middle East, she excels at navigating complex EU participation rules to build successful global research consortia.
