On 7 May 2026, the webinar “Horizon Europe MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA-PF) for Tunisian Organisations” was successfully held online. The event was jointly organised by the MSCA-GLOPOL project and the Management Unit UGPO-Horizon Europe under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Tunisia.
The webinar brought together representatives from Tunisian universities, research institutions, project management offices, and innovation support structures to explore the opportunities offered by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) under Horizon Europe. The session aimed to strengthen the capacity of Tunisian organisations to participate more actively in European research and innovation programmes, with a particular focus on the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships scheme.
Discussions highlighted the important role of host institutions in attracting high-level international researchers, developing competitive proposals, and fostering sustainable research collaborations with European and international partners. Participants benefited from a comprehensive overview of Horizon Europe and dedicated presentations on the MSCA-PF programme, including eligibility conditions, proposal preparation, supervision mechanisms, and implementation aspects of MSCA projects. Practical recommendations and best practices for Tunisian host organisations were also shared.
The webinar featured presentations from the General Director of the Management Unit (UGPO-Horizon Europe), the MSCA-GLOPOL Regional Liaison Officer, and the MSCA National Contact Points (NCPs) for Tunisia, together with other institutional stakeholders involved in the national Horizon Europe ecosystem.
