The MSCA-GLOPOL Project, funded by the European Commission, will organise an online Horizon Europe Info Day on the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), with a dedicated focus on Doctoral Networks (DN). The event will take place on 6 May 2026 and is designed for organisations in Algeria, Jordan, and Morocco, including universities, research-performing organisations, public institutions, and private-sector stakeholders seeking to strengthen their institutional participation in MSCA.
The Info Day will raise awareness of MSCA funding opportunities and clarify key participation rules. In particular, it will underline that organisations from Algeria, Jordan, and Morocco are fully eligible for MSCA funding, an important aspect that remains under-recognised.
The programme will provide a comprehensive overview of MSCA, with an in-depth focus on Doctoral Networks, while also presenting other schemes such as Postdoctoral Fellowships, Staff Exchanges and MSCA COFUND. Participants will receive practical guidance on proposal preparation, consortium building, and partner search strategies, supporting organisations in positioning themselves effectively within international consortia.
The event will feature Sohail Luka, Senior Expert at the MSCA Unit of the Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC), who will provide a general introduction to Horizon Europe and detailed insights into MSCA Doctoral Networks. His participation ensures a direct contribution from the European Commission and offers participants first-hand information on the programme.
By bringing together stakeholders from academia, public institutions, and the private sector, the event will contribute to strengthening international collaboration, enhancing proposal quality, and increasing participation in MSCA projects and global research cooperation.
