The “Exploring Collaboration Opportunities under MSCA Doctoral Networks (DN) and Staff Exchanges (SE) for Japan” was successfully held online on 25th February 2026, bringing together members of the Japanese and international research and innovation community to explore MSCA DN and SE opportunities under Horizon Europe. Organised in close cooperation between the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC), and the MSCA-GLOPOL project, the onsite/online event attracted strong interest. The audience was both from academic and non-academic institutions, while participation from the business sector also demonstrated a high level of engagement.
The 75-min webinar aimed to raise awareness of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), with particular emphasis on the application process and best practices. In addition, the Participants received a comprehensive overview of the practicalities of the funding opportunities.
The event served as an important capacity-building and introductory event for newcomers to Horizon Europe, laying the groundwork for future MSCA collaborations involving participating organisations.
