MSCA SE for research institutions from Chile and Mexico

The GLOPOL-MSCA project, in collaboration with EURAXESS LAC, hosted a high-impact virtual session titled “MSCA Staff Exchanges for Research Institutions from Chile and Mexico” on February 5th 2026. Designed specifically for research organizations and International Relations Offices in non-associated high-income third countries, the webinar addressed the unique participation rules and strategic opportunities within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Staff Exchanges. With 353 registrations and 272 live attendees, the event underscored a growing regional appetite for international mobility as a tool to enhance institutional research capacity and foster long-term global partnerships.

The session moved beyond technical guidelines to offer a practical, evidence-based approach to consortium building. Experts from the University of La Coruña shared institutional best practices, while real-life testimonials from the “Peace and Mobilities” (Mexico) and “RETROTRAFO” (Chile) projects illustrated the tangible benefits of pooling global talent. By clarifying eligibility and funding frameworks, the webinar equipped participants with the necessary tools to navigate Horizon Europe calls, effectively turning institutional mobility into a catalyst for scientific excellence and cross-border innovation.
