MSCA Staff Exchanges Webinar for South Africa

The MSCA Staff Exchanges Webinar for South Africa will take place on 11 March 2026, from 14:00 to 16:00 (South African time). The online event is organised by MSCA GLOPOL with the support of the European Research Executive Agency (REA), the MSCA Unit at the European Commission’s DG Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC), Stellenbosch University (SU), and the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI) of South Africa. The webinar aims to raise awareness of the opportunities available through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Staff Exchanges scheme under Horizon Europe, with a particular focus on the 2026 call and how South African institutions (academia and non-academia) can engage in international research mobility and collaboration.

The event targets institutional representatives and members of South Africa’s science, technology, and innovation (STI) community, including universities, research institutions, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) interested in building partnerships with European and international organisations. The programme will cover key aspects of the MSCA Staff Exchanges scheme, including the 2026 call overview, eligibility and evaluation criteria, the proposal submission process, and practical tips for preparing strong proposals. Participants will also hear practical insights from Stellenbosch University on their experience with MSCA Staff Exchanges. The webinar will be held online in English and is open to all interested participants. For registration or further information, please contact yedilfana.setarge@pracsis.be.
