On 8 March 2026, the MSCA-GLOPOL project organised an online Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Infoday in cooperation with Al-Balqa Applied University, with a special focus on the MSCA Staff Exchanges 2026 call.
The event aimed to raise awareness of the opportunities offered by Horizon Europe and the MSCA, while providing practical guidance for researchers and institutional representatives interested in international research collaboration. The session introduced the position of MSCA within Horizon Europe and presented the main features of the Staff Exchanges call, including consortium requirements, institutional opportunities, financial aspects, and partner search tools such as the MSCA Matchmaking Platform, the Funding & Tenders Portal, NCPs, and EURAXESS.
Participants were also informed that, as Jordan is classified as a low- and middle-income country, organisations based in Jordan are eligible to receive funding under the MSCA Staff Exchanges call, which offers valuable opportunities for institutions in the country to strengthen international research cooperation.
The programme also briefly covered other MSCA funding schemes.
We would like to thank Al-Balqa Applied University for its cooperation and all participants for their interest and active engagement.
