MSCA-GLOPOL invites stakeholders to participate in the MSCA-Collaboration-Survey

The MSCA-GLOPOL project invites stakeholders to participate in a short survey on institutional collaboration under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA).

The MSCA-GLOPOL project aims to strengthen international cooperation in Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions with key partner countries and regions. Over 36 months, the project focuses on three core activities:

  • Mapping opportunities:  The project analyses cooperation trends and listen to researchers, institutions and policymakers to identify opportunities and challenges for international collaboration within MSCA.
  • Boosting participation: The project actively promotes MSCA calls and share best practices to help more researchers and organisations from our targeted regions participate successfully.
  • Creating connections:  The project connects MSCA with other major EU research and innovation initiatives, opening new pathways for talent and strengthening the overall ecosystem of global cooperation.

The 20 countries and six regions that MSCA-GLOPOL targets have been strategically selected based on existing Science & Technology (S&T) Agreements with the EU or long-standing bi-regional policy dialogues. These targeted countries and regions are as follows:

Bilateral cooperation:

Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Egypt, India, Japan, Jordan, Korea, Mexico, Morocco, New Zealand, South Africa, Switzerland, Tunisia, Ukraine and the United States.

Regional cooperation:

  • African Union (AU)
  • Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)
  • Eastern Partnership countries
  • Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC)
  • Mediterranean partner countries
  • Western Balkans

To better understand current participation in MSCA, identify cooperation trends, highlight opportunities and challenges, and support the strategic promotion of MSCA opportunities globally, a survey has been launched through which stakeholder input on institutional collaboration under MSCA will be gathered.

It is addressed to the following stakeholders based in any of the 20 countries and six regions mentioned above:

  • Institutional representatives (research organisations,  higher education institutions,  private companies)
  • Policy advisors and national funding organisations
  • MSCA National Contact Points and EURAXES Worldwide representatives
  • EU Delegations and Science and Technology Counsellors
  • MCAA Members, MSCA Alumni, and  individual researchers

The survey takes approximately 10–15 minutes to complete and will remain open until 27 March  2026.

The MSCA-GLOPOL project kindly invites you to participate and share your valuable insights.
