Horizon Europe Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions Staff Exchanges & Doctoral Networks Training Sessions in Mexico City

From April 13–14, 2026, the National Association of Universities and Institutions of Higher Education (ANUIES) in Mexico City will host a specialised hybrid event titled “Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions Staff Exchanges & Doctoral Networks Training Sessions“.

This two-day onsite training is designed to empower Mexican partners by strengthening their capacity to navigate Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) of Horizon Europe Programme, specifically focusing on Staff Exchanges (SE) and Doctoral Networks (DN). By fostering strategic information exchange and programme promotion, the event aims to increase national participation rates, elevate the overall quality of research proposals, and solidify long-term international research alliances between Mexico and the European Union.

As part of the programme, participants will receive detailed guidance on the objectives, structure, and funding mechanisms of both MSCA Staff Exchanges and Doctoral Networks. The sessions will clarify eligibility conditions, consortium-building strategies, mobility rules, and proposal evaluation criteria, while also highlighting practical tips for designing competitive applications. Particular emphasis will be placed on how Mexican institutions can position themselves as active partners in collaborative European research consortia.

With an expected attendance of 80 to 100 participants over two days, the event represents a significant opportunity for the Mexican research community to engage directly with international funding structures and enhance their global research footprint.

Please see the Agenda for more details.
