The GLOPOL-MSCA project in collaboration with Euraxess Australia & New Zealand is organising a webinar on 26 February 2026 at 18:00 (Sydney time) specifically for research institutions from Australia & New Zealand to raise awareness about the strategic opportunities offered by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Staff Exchanges (SE).
The primary goal is to encourage greater participation from these countries by demonstrating how international mobility can enhance institutional research capacity. A focus will be put on the possibility to be exceptionally funded by the European Commission.
Through a practical and evidence-based approach, the webinar aims to:
- Promote Participation: Clarify the eligibility and funding rules for organisations from high income third countries not associated to Pillar I of Horizon Europe.
- Share Real-Life Experience: Utilise testimonial to provide “hands-on” insights into the benefits and challenges of staff exchanges, moving beyond theoretical guidelines to practical implementation.
- Foster Global Partnerships: Encourage institutions to join international consortia that address global challenges, aligning with the priority of creating a “Stronger Europe in the world” through high-quality knowledge diffusion.
- Expand Outreach: Reach a broader range of interested entities – including universities and private sector organisations – to strengthen the links between the European Research Area (ERA) and the research ecosystems in Australia & New Zealand.
The MSCA-GLOPOL Project is organising this webinar to present the MSCA SE call, which funds four-year research and innovation projects implemented through short-term international and inter-sectoral staff exchanges involving researchers and innovation staff from participating organisations.
This free webinar is directed at researchers, international office staff, and science, technology, and innovation institutional representatives based in Australia & New Zealand.
Seats are limited and will be offered on a first-come-first-serve basis.
