The MSCA information session was successfully delivered as part of the IDC – International Dental Conference on 27 November 2025, held onsite in Egypt, with the lecture delivered online by Dr Tuğba Arslan.
Organised within the framework of the 10th International Dental Congress (IDC 25), in collaboration with Misr University for Science and Technology (Egypt), the University of Huddersfield (UK), the University of Genova (Italy), and EGE University (Türkiye), the event attracted strong interest. The audience consisted mainly of researchers, postgraduate students, and academic staff from medical and dental schools, demonstrating a high level of engagement from the academic sector.
The MSCA session aimed to raise awareness of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), with particular emphasis on funding opportunities available for researchers and research-performing institutions. Participants received a comprehensive overview of MSCA schemes, including opportunities for postdoctoral fellowships, doctoral training, staff exchanges, and institutional collaboration. The programme combined strategic insights into the MSCA framework with practical guidance on how researchers and institutions can benefit from these funding instruments.
The event served as an important awareness-raising and capacity-building activity, introducing MSCA opportunities to a broad audience of approximately 500 participants from Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Bahrain. The presentation delivered during the event is available below:
