MSCA GLOPOL project is proud to support the MSCA National Info Day taking place in Egypt next 1 December 2025

Organised in close collaboration with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT), the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC), and the MSCA-GLOPOL project, the event will be hosted at ASRT in Cairo.

What to expect

This Info Day comes at an exciting moment for Egypt. With its recent association to Horizon Europe, the country now has full access to the EU’s major research and innovation programme. This means Egyptian researchers, universities, innovators, and organisations can take part in—and even lead—Horizon Europe projects under the same conditions as EU Member States. It opens the door to new partnerships, cutting-edge research opportunities, and support for national research reforms and institutional capacity building.

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) are a key part of Horizon Europe. They fund excellent research and innovation, offering researchers at all career stages the chance to gain new skills, collaborate internationally, and work across sectors and disciplines. MSCA programmes help build a strong, future-ready research community in Europe and beyond. Because MSCA opportunities are still relatively new to many universities, public bodies, and organisations in Egypt, this four-hour Info Day aims to introduce the main MSCA schemes in a clear and accessible way.
The session will cover:

  • Staff Exchanges
  • Doctoral Networks
  • Postdoctoral Fellowships
  • COFUND
  • CITIZENS

Special focus will be given to the upcoming Staff Exchanges call, opening on 16 December 2025.

The event will be held in English, and no interpretation will be provided. Participation is by invitation only.  If you’re interested in attending, please contact: radwan.amro@gmail.com
